This is a portrait of the late Alice In Chains singer, Layne Staley.  I was a huge fan of his music as an adolescent, and I remain a fan to this day.  The colors were inspired by the self-titled album, and the portrait is from three different photo references. 
The original is drawn on 48 lb A4 paper in alcohol based markers.
