I first saw a Joro spider in Virginia on a work trip.  It was beautiful and terrifying, and I have never forgotten it.  This depiction is in Daniel Smith watercolor paints on 300 gsm, 5 x 7 Winsor Newton watercolor paper.  The original is sold in a black rimmed floating frame.
